Commentaries is the online supplement to the Washington University Law Review, featuring original analysis and debate by members of the legal academy, bench, and bar.
Commentaries publishes original, op-ed length essays and responses to articles appearing in the Washington University Law Review. The Law Review is one of only a few legal journals that publishes each essay both online and in print. We strongly encourage submitters to not exceed approximately 3,000 words. Submissions should be minimally footnoted and written for a general audience. Submissions for Commentaries should be e-mailed to WUCommentaries@gmail.com.
